Named the true color of the sky

Scientists have debunked many people's belief that the color of the Earth's sky is blue.

According to Science Alert, Monash University astronomy professor Michael J. Brown and his colleague have debunked the theory from Leiden University Marthew Keworthy.

According to scientists, Earth's sky is colored with a mixture of green, yellow and red, which are the result of scattered sunlight, oxygen and sodium from shooting stars.

This glow is formed by atoms and molecules in the atmosphere. In the light visible due to the Sun, oxygen gives green light, hydroxyl molecules give red, sodium — yellow, and nitrogen does not contribute to the strong glow of the air at all.
