Mysterious find: vessels with human remains found in India

In India, archaeologists have found dozens of large stone bowls with human remains in four different places. Scientists from the National University of Canberra spoke about their discovery in a CNN commentary. According to one of the researchers, a doctoral student at the University of Nicholas Skopal, scientists found stones that were likely to be gravestones. Some were decorated, others were plain. In that place, 65 jugs were found. There is a possibility that in the burial places the bowls were buried in the ground, because they have not yet been found. It is not yet clear which civilization used them. According to stories passed down from generation to generation among the locals, the Naga people who lived in the area removed objects and necklaces from the bowls, which became part of the family heritage. The researchers found three different methods of burial: bones placed in pits with a large piece of limestone on top, bones buried in ceramic vessels, and simply bodies in graves.
