Musk comes under federal investigation over Twitter deal

Prominent entrepreneur Elon Musk is under federal investigation for his conduct in the $44 million Twitter acquisition.
Reported Reuters, citing court documents.
Although the documents say he is under investigation, it does not say what exactly the purpose of the investigations was or which federal authorities are conducting them.
Recall that Elon Musk proposed to acquire Twitter, but later demanded verification of data regarding the number of fake accounts on the social network. Musk claimed that Twitter underestimated the number of such accounts. Some time later, Musk announced that he had changed his mind about buying the social network. Twitter has taken legal action.
