Most Israelis believe that a third intifada is possible.
This is evidenced by the results of a poll published by the Israeli Democracy Institute. According to the survey, 62% of respondents believe that there is a high probability of a third intifada.
Representatives of the institute noted that the results of the survey show a steady increase in the proportion of those who believe that there is a high probability of a third intifada, from 36% to 2017 to 62% today.
A breakdown of data by nationality shows that the majority of respondents, both Jewish and Arab, believe that a third intifada is likely if the Arab-Israeli conflict is not resolved found soon.
In addition, the survey asked respondents to rate the security forces for how they handled the recent series of terrorist attacks. 54% of Jews rated “very good”, 16% rated “not so good or not at all good”. 23% of the Arabs surveyed gave the security forces a high rating, while 38% gave a low rating.
