Monument to Suleimani was set on fire in Iran

Unknown people set fire to a monument to Qasem Suleimani, the commander of the Al-Quds unit The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which was liquidated on January 3, 2020.
According to the Iranian news agency ISNA, the incident took place in the west of the country, in the city of Shehre Kord. The Soleimani monument was opened on Wednesday morning. ISNA, the six-meter statue, cost about 150 million tomans, or about $ 35,500.
A video was posted on social media showing the statue on fire.
Representative of the Supreme Leader Iranian Ayatollah Ali Khamenei compared the burning of the Suleimani monument to his murder.
