 Monkeypox: more than 1,000 cases outside of Africa

More than 1,000 cases of monkeypox infection have been detected outside of Africa.

This statement was made by the head of WHO Tedros Ghebreyesus, RBC reports.< br />
“More than a thousand confirmed cases of monkeypox from 29 countries that are not endemic have been reported to the WHO,” he said.

It is worth noting that it is still June 5 the number of cases of monkeypox was 780.
