A military helicopter crashed during a training mission in Hawaii on Tuesday, February 22.

According to the US Navy, the Sikorsky S-61N helicopter was conducting a training operation under the contract at the Pacific Missile Range on the island of Kauai.

Four dead were employees of the Croman Corporation. Their identities have not yet been revealed.

According to eyewitnesses, during the flight, the helicopter suddenly began to lose altitude, causing it to crash headfirst onto the runway.

Transportation Security is investigating the cause of the crash.
