Mifal Hapais Council for culture launches «Aquarium» – a series of live musical performances that will take place in the Tel Aviv headquarters of “Mifal ha-pais”.

The creators of the new cultural endeavor were inspired by the format of Tiny Desk Concerts, the world-famous music show, which is broadcast on the Internet from the office of the American radio station NPR. Hundreds of concerts by the most famous artists gather millions of fans on social networks and streaming services.
Both well-known and emerging Israeli artists of various genres will take part in the concerts. There is no doubt that Aquarium become a prestigious stage.
Project – part of the vision of the Mifal Hapais Council for Culture and Art. It is aimed at supporting artists and making their work available to the widest possible audience.
All shows will be posted on a special YouTube channel and social networks, performances will be available for free viewing and will create a unique digital archive. It is planned to hold one concert a week.
«Aquarium» will serve as a one-of-a-kind meeting place, a unique platform for musical experiments, collaborations and the creation of new original forms that are only possible in this format.
The project was curated by the well-known performer and actor Gilad Kahana.
Among the artists participating in the project: Guy Mesig, Teddy Neguse, Nunu, Knessiyat Hassekhel, Zlil Danin, Eden Darso, Ha -khazer ha-akhorit, sisters Karakukli, Yishai Levy, Rona Keinan, Yemen Blues (Ravid Kahalani), Geva Alon, Asaf Amdursky, Tomer Yeshayahu, Noroz, Ofek Adanek, Amir Benayoun, Arkady Duhin, Tripoli, Esther Rada, Amir Lev, Hatikva 6, Michael Cohen, Carolina, Aviv Bahar. Also expected to feature: Peled, Shekel, Daniela Spektor, Mosh Ben-Ari, Balkan Beat Box and more.
