 Miami: match between Jewish and Catholic schools ends in brawl

A high school championship football game between a Jewish day school and a Catholic Miami school ended in a fight on the field.

“It is worrying that students at Archbishop Coleman Carroll School may have made anti-Semitic comments or gestures at the beginning of the incident, although the two schools are still under initial investigation,” the statement said.

It is clarified that the fans ran onto the field, fighting with the players. One of the spectators was injured and received medical attention. The Florida High School Athletic Association was notified of the incident.

According to one eyewitness, a Jewish student suffered a concussion, although the school only confirmed that the spectator was injured.
