Media: US is trying to stifle Iran's UAV program

The administration of US President Joe Biden has made serious efforts to suppress Iran's ability to manufacture and supply drones for Russia.

The New York Times reports.

According to the publication, the United States is working closely with Israel and is drawing on Jerusalem's experience in preventing Iranian drone attacks.
The program also aims to give Ukraine the ability to shoot down kamikaze drones that the Russian Federation manages to acquire.

“We are looking for ways to target Iranian UAV production through sanctions, export controls and negotiations with private companies whose parts were used in the production,” — reports National Security Council spokeswoman Adrienne Watson.
