Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic will receive a visa to Australia and will be allowed to play in the Australian Open.
This is reported by the Guardian Australian, citing sources.
Previously, Djokovic was banned from entering Australia for three years, his visa was cancelled. This came after the Australian authorities were not convinced by the athlete's arguments about why he had not been vaccinated against the coronavirus.
Now, according to sources, Immigration Minister Andrew Giles will issue Djokovic a visa and lift a three-year ban on entry.
