Famous Ukrainian culinary expert Eugene Klopotenko shared with his followers a recipe for pate that you want to “eat and cook more.”
– I want to smear him. I want to shrink down to ant size and live in a jar with this paste. Want to fall asleep in it and Wake up. Want to become pate. 500 g chicken liver;
150 grams of fennel;
1 small onion;
70 ml of Cahors ;
salt, pepper – to taste
100 grams of butter;
1 tablespoon sunflower oil
Clean the chicken liver from the films. Slice it in small pieces. Finely chop onions and cut the fennel. Strongly heat the pan and pour out the vegetables. After a time, add the liver and reduce the heat to medium position. After 5 minutes add the wine.
Pour the mixture in a bowl and beat with a blender. To connect the mass with the melted butter. The oil should completely cover the pate. Put 3 hours in the refrigerator. The pate is ready!
