Massive fire near Jerusalem brought under control

On the afternoon of June 9, a large-scale forest fire near Jerusalem was brought under control. Employees of the fire and rescue service struggled with the elements for 1.5 hours. Dozens of schoolchildren walking around Bar-Gior and Tzur-Hadass were evacuated. Fortunately, the flames did not reach residential areas.
