Marilyn Monroe wedding suit to be auctioned off

The auction house Gotta Have Rock and Roll put up for sale a costume that Marilyn Monroe wore to her wedding to Joe DiMaggio in 1954.

TMZ reported.

This outfit is not one of the star's famous looks, but the costume is still expected to cost between $1.5 million and $2 million.

Marilyn Monroe is known to have purchased the costume from a department store Macy's located in Manhattan. After a while, she gave the costume to her photographer's mother-in-law.

The costume is a dark brown sweater with a white fur collar and a Serge skirt.
