 In Shanghai, a man broke into a children's hospital with a knife

On the morning of July 9 in Shanghai, China, a man broke into a children's hospital with a knife and attacked people.

According to eyewitnesses, in the Ruijin hospital there was chaos: people climbed under the turnstiles to leave the institution, and the doctors ran out with the patients.

The suspect took hostage a crowd of people on the seventh floor of the hospital and threatened to injure them. Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene and were forced to open fire.

The attacker was detained.
