leader of Islamic Jihad arrested in Jenin Bassam al-Saadi and another terrorist.
One terrorist was killed in a shootout between security forces and Palestinian militants.
Another terrorist was moderately injured.

No casualties from the Israeli side.
The moment the soldiers entered Jenin, they opened fire on them. The soldiers responded with small arms fire.
The arrested terrorists were handed over to the Shin Bet. A pistol, M-16, ammunition and cash were confiscated.
