Convicted sex-trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell (aka “Epstein's Madame”) has hired attorney Harvey Weinstein on appeals to try to overturn her conviction for her role in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
Page Six has learned the news.
Attorney Arthur L. Aidala, who represents Weinstein, confirmed that he filed legal papers on Friday to represent Maxwell in her scheduled appeals.
Although no appeal was filed, Aidala said they believe “the trial judge made mistakes”; in the Maxwell case and that she was “maltreated” while incarcerated.
He added that the appeal process would not be about Maxwell's guilt or innocence, but about “whether the judge rendered the correct legal decision.”
