Norman Lloyd was born on 8 Nov 1914 in new York. His father Max was a salesman, who later became the owner of the furniture store, and his mother Sadie accountant. Sadie loved to sing and walk to the theater, but because from early childhood, was led Norman to dance classes and singing.
