Iranian refugee Mehran Karimi Nasseri, who inspired Steven Spielberg's film The Terminal, died at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.

He lived at the airport 18, according to Al Arabiya.

Nasseri died of natural causes shortly before noon on Saturday in terminal 2F.
