In the business quarter “Moscow-City” The fire in the Moscow Tower skyscraper under construction was extinguished, a source of Izvestia reported on February 12.
The area of the fire was 300 square meters. m. Open burning was stopped at 20:13 Moscow time. No casualties were reported.
Earlier that day, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that building materials had caught fire on a total area of about 100 square meters. 15 pieces of equipment and 50 personnel were involved in extinguishing the fire.
Eyewitnesses said that the fire occurred on the fourth floor of a building under construction in the Moscow City business district.
