LGBT kindergarten to open in Berlin

The first LGBT kindergarten will open in Berlin, Germany, in spring.
According to Bild newspaper, the kindergarten will become part of a complex where LGBT people will live.
Managing director of a gay counseling center in Berlin, Marcel de Groot, who oversees the project, explained that the concept is the same as other kindergartens, but children will be taught what it means to be gay or lesbian.
“Then there are, for example, ten regular children's books and three in which a prince marries a prince. The LGBT lifestyle should just be more visible,” he said.
Kindergarten will accept not only children of LGBT representatives, but also from ordinary families. There are already 60 preliminary applications for enrollment in LGBT kindergarten.
