Lenovo has become the world's leading computer supplier

Global PC shipments in the fourth quarter of 2021 reached 90.3 million units, maintaining growth of 3.1% year on year. China-based Lenovo is leading the market with over 21.7 million units sold during this period.

Q1 2022 shipments forecast remains optimistic as demand remains strong and pressure on PC components weakening little by little.

Lenovo leads the global market with a 24% share, which, although slightly down from Q4 2020, still represents the highest sales figure of 21.7 million units in the fourth quarter of 2021.

HP follows with a 20.5% share and a 1% year-on-year growth thanks to reduced component stockouts. The number of PCs sold by the American company also rose slightly from 18.4 million units in the fourth quarter of 2020 to 18.5 million units in the fourth quarter of 2021.
