Legendary Greek composer Vangelis dies

Legendary Greek composer Vangelis, one of the first authors and performers of electronic music, has died at the age of 79.
Representatives of the musician reported that he died on May 17 in a hospital in France where he received treatment. The Guardian writes about this.
For the music to the film “Chariots of Fire” Vangelis received an Oscar. In addition, he is the author of the soundtrack for the cult film Blade Runner.
