Legendary American guitarist Carlos Santana fell on stage during an open-air concert in Michigan.
Medical personnel treated the 74-year-old musician in Clarkston and was later taken to the emergency room of a local hospital for observation.
Santana later wrote on his Facebook page that he “forgot to eat and drink water,” “so I dehydrated and passed out.”
His manager, Michael Vryonis, said the musician was doing well.
However, the manager added that the July 6 concert in Burgetstown, Pennsylvania , “will be rescheduled.”
The guitarist and his band Santana are touring North America with their them the show Miraculous Supernatural. They rose to fame in the 1960s and 70s, pioneering the fusion of rock 'n' roll and Latin American jazz.
