Latest update broke Wi-Fi on Windows 10 and 11 PC
|News » Science & Technology
Microsoft warned that the latest updates released by the company on June 14 are causing problems with Wi-Fi hotspots. When connecting to a hotspot, Windows computers drop the connection.
The issue affects Windows 11, 10, and even 7. Currently, the only way around this – turn off the wifi hotspot and find another way to connect to the internet. The bug came with update KB5014697.
Users whose only Internet access is Wi-Fi should roll back to the previous version of Windows in Update Center and wait for Microsoft to find a solution to the problem.
