Large consignment of drugs intercepted on border with Egypt

The Israeli military intercepted a large consignment of drugs on the border with Egypt.
According to The Times of Israel, on the night of Saturday, January 8, IDF soldiers identified a number of suspects who tried to smuggle drugs from Egypt to Israel.
“IDF troops took action to curb smuggling and seized about 100 kg of drugs that were handed over to the police,” the IDF said in a statement.
