Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid reviews with security officials at Kirya military headquarters in Tel Aviv amid possible Palestinian Islamic Jihad revenge for the arrest of one of the leaders of the group.

“We understand the difficulties faced by the people of the South and share them. We do not accept the situation when terrorist groups disrupt the daily lives of citizens,” Lapid said.

In addition, the head of government stressed: “We will not shy away from using force to resume daily life in the South, and we will not stop the policy of arresting terrorists in Judea and Samaria".
