Lapid: “We continue to fight terrorism day and night”

Outgoing Prime Minister Yair Lapid expressed his condolences as the attack victim Shalom Sofer of Kdumim died of his wounds two weeks after the attack.

"It is with great sadness that I received the news of the passing of Shalom Sofer. Shalom died due to injuries sustained in the attack. On behalf of the Government of Israel and the citizens of Israel, I express my condolences to his family and friends. The dastardly terrorist was captured the same day the attack took place, the IDF and our security forces continue to fight terrorism day and night,” Lapid said in a statement.
