Thirteen people have gone missing on the Italian resort island of Ischia after a landslide caused by heavy rain swallowed some buildings.

Police said they were searching for the missing, but did not specify their number.
Italian Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi said on Saturday that there were confirmed cases there is no death due to a landslide on the island of Ischia. Prior to this, the press reported that there were deaths as a result of a natural disaster.
