Lagunilla painter Miguel Rivero participates in the Collective Visual Art exhibition entitled: Martin Luther King
The plastic artist Miguel Rivero, a native of Ciudad Rafael Urdaneta and who lives in the Lagunillas municipality, participates in the Collective Virtual Art exhibition entitled Martin Luther King, an exhibition inaugurated on September 29 which will run until October 29, 2021, with the endorsement of the Andrés Bello Catholic University.
More than 60 national and international artists participate in this important exhibition, with 60 works in different techniques, as well as sculptures, drawings, watercolors and mixed media paintings.
«I feel happy and excited to be able to take my art to all corners of the world. I participate with my work I had a Dream which I put to the public’s discretion.
It is a beautiful show in which we share our work and pay tribute to a great human rights fighter such as Martin Luther King, ”said Rivero.
The art critic and plastic artist Orlando Campos wrote about Miguel Rivero’s painting: «In neo-pop art style with comic and expressionist elements. The artist presents us with a scene where the protagonist Martin Luther King glimpses in the innocence of some children on a globe representing the continents, the dream of a peace and better times ».
Among the artists participating in this activity are Ana Teresa Pesce, Arnoldo Díaz, Daniel Pérez, David Acosta, Edith Ortega, Filomena Peteucci, Genoveffa Savella, Myriam Achurra, among others.
