Knesset Member of the Religious Zionism Party Michal Waldiger arrived at one of the places where the activists of the Nahala movement called for the construction of a new settlement in Judea and Samaria.
According to Arutz Sheva, Waldiger witnessed how the police detained one of the activists. She approached the police car and stood in front of it, blocking the passage, demanding to know why the activist had been arrested.
Long minutes of police explanations did not satisfy her. She made it clear to the police that they had no right to “move” her because of her parliamentary immunity.
As a result, after persuasion, Waldiger nevertheless gave in and the police car left the scene along with the detainee.
