 The director of the series "Kingdom" was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease

Danish director Lars von Trier, 66, has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.

According to Variety, citing the director's film company Zentropa, Lars von Trier is “in a good mood and is being treated for symptoms.”

It is also known that the director continues to work on the final season of the series “Kingdom”.

The director had a hand in such films as: “Europe” ;, "Dancing in the Dark", "Dogville", "Melancholia" and "Nymphomaniac".
