U2 lead singer Bono revealed that he had a half-brother whom he didn't know existed for a long time.
According to Bono, he found out about his brother in 2000. The singer noted that his mother, who died in 1974, did not know that her husband had a child from another woman.
“I have another brother whom I love and adore, about whom I didn't know what I had,” Bono said in an interview with BBC Radio 4.
Bono called his half-brother's family “friendly”.
“I can say that my father had a deep friendship with this gorgeous woman who is part of the family and then they had a baby. And all this was kept secret,” the singer said.
