Kazakhstan: Tokayev awarded 16 security officials
On Sunday, January 9, Kazakh President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev posthumously awarded 16 servicemen and policemen.
They died during the riots in the country.
According to the latest data, 164 people died as a result of the riots. The largest death toll was found in Alma-Ata & ndash; 103 people, including two children.
21 people died in the Kyzylorda region, in the Zhambyl region & mdash; 10 people.
