As of Tuesday, September 27, about 98,000 Russians have crossed the border with Kazakhstan. This was reported by officials of Kazakhstan. The corresponding statement was made against the background of the decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin on partial mobilization for the war in Ukraine. Earlier, the authorities of the Chelyabinsk region reported that on the border with Kazakhstan, the border guards have lists of those liable for military service. If the evader tries to pass the checkpoint, he is detained, the representative of the military registration and enlistment office is waiting for him and handed the summons. Meanwhile, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, Marat Akhmetzhanov, confirmed that the country will extradite citizens who evade mobilization to the Russian Federation.
