Matan Kahana spoke about meetings with PA leader Mahmoud Abbas in an interview for Israel Hayom. Matana opined that the meetings were worth holding if they were important to Israel's security.
“We don't choose the leaders of our enemies. I am for any meeting that is important to the security of the State of Israel, and if there is something that is required for security, it would be a grave mistake not to do so. If I were the Minister of Defense and I thought it was necessary to meet with Abu Mazen to strengthen the security of Israel, I would do what is necessary. I trust Gantz that when he decides to meet someone,” Kahana said.
