Jordan: head of hospital sent to prison due to deaths of COVID patients

Jordanian court sentenced director of Salt State Hospital to three years in prison for the death of 10 patients who were treated in the department for patients with coronavirus. This was reported by The Times of Israel.

The patients died because the hospital ran out of oxygen.

Abdel Razak al-Hashman and four of his assistants were brought to trial. According to press reports, convicts can appeal the sentence within 10 days.
