Johnson tried himself as a fighter pilot after retiring

Retired British Prime Minister Boris Johnson flew an RAF Typhoon fighter jet.

the aircraft he flew while visiting Coningsby Base in Lincolnshire.

The video was filmed on a mobile phone during an in-flight refueling exercise last week, but was not released until Monday.

Boris Johnson compared his premiership to flying a Typhoon fighter jet as he prepares to hand over control of the country to the next leader of the Conservative Party. According to Sky News, Johnson is expected to draw these parallels during a speech to business leaders at the Farnborough Air Show, which opened on July 18.

In his speech, the outgoing prime minister is expected to say that after three happy years in the cockpit, where he accomplished “some pretty difficult, if not amazing feats”, Johnson is about to hand over control “to someone else” without a hitch.
