Jerusalem: police return Torah scrolls stolen from synagogue
Three Torah scrolls stolen from a synagogue in Jerusalem were returned.
This was reported by the police on Thursday, January 13th.
The administrator of the synagogue reported to the law enforcement agencies about the theft of three Torah scrolls from the building. Unknown persons put them in garbage bags and carried them out.

On Wednesday, the police arrested one of the suspects and sent him for questioning. As a result, law enforcement officers managed to find the Torah scrolls in the suitcase in which they were hidden.
“After an intensive investigation, investigators were able to find the stolen Torah scrolls in the city. They were returned to their owners this morning '', & mdash; Lior Ben Shalom, a spokesman for the Department of Investigation and Intelligence, said.
