 Jerusalem Lynch Attempt: Sentencing

Three East Jerusalem residents received a sentence in connection with an attempted lynching of a married couple in May 2021.

The Jerusalem District Court handed down the sentence on Tuesday, March 7.

In particular, Omar, Ashraf and Yousef Jabar were sentenced to 4 and 9 years in prison and suspended respectively. They are also obliged to pay compensation.

According to investigators, the above persons threw stones at the couple. The man was beaten and stabbed in the back.
