Japan will develop a passenger moon rover

A passenger moon rover will be developed in Japan

Japan's new space policy envisages cooperation between the public and private sectors to develop a means of transporting people across the lunar surface.

The vehicle is reportedly designed to transport people across the lunar surface as part of one of the American lunar exploration projects.

It is also noted that Japan will conduct research to develop a technology for using solar energy to generate electricity in space.

The project provides for the launch of a probe to study one of the satellites of Mars in 2024.
