
On Friday, January 21, an earthquake of magnitude 6.6 rocked the south of Japan.
The US Geological Survey reports.
The epicenter was at 78 km southeast of the Japanese city of Oita, the center of – at a depth of 51 km.
No tsunami threat or casualties reported.
