The wreckage of NASA's decommissioned satellite for assessing the Earth's radiation balance is likely to collapse near the Korean Peninsula.
This was announced on the morning of January 9 by the Ministry of Science South Korea.
As previously reported, most of the satellite is expected to burn up during reentry, but some components will still fall to Earth.
Residents of the Korean peninsula are urged to be careful . According to NASA, the risk of damage due to falling debris is very low.
