Israel's Teva to pay millions in opioid lawsuit

Israeli drug maker Teva and US company Allergan will pay a large amount of money in an opioid lawsuit.
Teva and Allergan agreed to pay $34 million cash and provide an overdose drug “Narcan” $20 million to settle a U.S. federal lawsuit filed by San Francisco.
According to The Times of Israel.
The lawsuit alleges that the pharmaceutical industry sparked a surge in overdoses and drug addiction, which caused public discomfort.
