Israelis are invited to visit Suriname

Suriname Foreign Minister Albert Ramdin invited Israelis to visit his country.
In an interview with Kan Bet, the minister said: “I invite all Israelis to visit us. In our country had a Jewish community dating back to the 17th century, and all Israelis should be interested in visiting us. We still have a Jewish community, small but strong.”
Earlier, Ramdin announced that the Surinamese authorities intend to open their embassy in Jerusalem.
