Israeli woman sets two new weightlifting records

Weightlifter Nicole Rubanovitch set two new Israeli records at the weekend in Herzliya.
A member of the Israeli Olympic team competes in the 76 kg weight category. Rubanovitch set a 102kg barbell lift record, thus improving her previous Israeli record of 101kg.
Rubanovitch's second new Israeli record was in the clean and jerk + snatch combined with 218kg.< br />
The previous record in the biathlon – 217 kg – belonged to the beginner Celia Gold and was set about two months ago at the World Championships held in Colombia.
