TV Series Tehran Israeli production won the International Emmy Award for television programs that were originally produced and broadcast outside the United States.

The series, produced by Kan, has previously been recognized worldwide on Apple TV +, surpassing the Indian series Aarya, the Chilean show El Presidente and the British program There She Goes in this category.


According to executive producer Dana Eden, the crew included Israelis and Iranians .

“We found we had a lot in common. I think this gives hope for the future, and I hope that we can walk shoulder to shoulder – Iranians and Israelis – in Jerusalem and Tehran as friends, not enemies, '' she said.

The series was first aired in Israel in June last year. It premiered on Apple TV + in September. The tape tells the story of a young woman, a Mossad agent, who is undercover in Tehran. She is on a mission to help set the stage for an airstrike against an Iranian nuclear reactor. The series has received critical acclaim both in Israel and abroad.

The second season of the series is filmed in Athens. Oscar-nominated joins the show actress Glenn Close.
