Israeli judoka Matan Kokolaev won a bronze medal at the European Junior Judo Championships in Luxembourg.

In the preliminary round, Kokolaev, competing in the category up to 60 kilograms, defeated the Ukrainian, Czech and Azerbaijani. In the semifinals, 20-year-old Matan Kokolaev was unable to defeat Georgian Giorgi Sardalashvili, who took second place.
