 Israeli Supreme Court Judge resigns

Israeli Supreme Court Judge George Kara resigned on Sunday. George Kara served as a judge for 33 years, including five years on the Supreme Court.

During his tenure, Kara handled hundreds of criminal cases. A panel of judges of the District Court, headed by George Kara, found former Israeli President Moshe Katsav guilty of rape in 2010.
