Israeli military arrests Palestinian suspect in recent shooting

A wanted Palestinian was arrested by Israeli forces during a daytime raid on the city of Shechem in Samaria, border police and Shin Bet security said in a joint statement.
According to police and Shin Bet, Mujahid al-Talfiti, 25, is suspected of being involved in a shooting near the Havat Gilad outpost on Friday. Two other suspects in the attack have already been detained.
Palestinian media reports that al-Talfiti was detained after Israeli forces surrounded the building he was in this afternoon.
Al-Talfiti previously served a prison sentence in Israel for his association with the terrorist group Hamas.
